Delivery Methods
Bathroom
City transport department will contact you a few days before the expected
delivery date to confirm that you are ready for the goods. Somebody needs
to be there on the day of delivery because the carriers will require a
signature for the goods at the delivery address.
We must
stress even at this point you are strongly advised not to pre-book
contractors, plumbers or engage in any predatory work until such time as
you have all your goods and are happy that they are correct as ordered and
damage free.
Remember we are dealing with fragile products and accidents can happen. In
such an event our staff will be as helpful as possible in resolving any
issues. Goods can be stored in our warehouses free of charge for a period
of 3 months so you can get your plumber scheduled in.
Delivery details of Normal Parcels
Small
items will be delivered to you by Parcel force courier service.
Delivery details of Bulky Pallet
You
will be e-mailed/telephoned with the consignment details directly by
the transport company to arrange a suitable time for delivery.
Delivery
Assistance
In
order that we can offer a competitive rate for deliveries as
possible; the carrier vehicles are frequently manned by the driver
only. We would therefore ask you to provide suitable help in the
unloading of heavy or bulky items.
As we are
not insured whilst on your property we regret he cannot deliver to
upstairs rooms.
Checking
Deliveries
The
driver will wait while you check the major components i.e. the bath,
pottery etc. There is no need at the point of delivery to check
robust items such as taps, seats, robustly packaged shower doors and
cubicles. Please check the quantity of items.
We generally
allow 48 hours for notification of any issues on these items.
Why do
you have to pay Delivery?
Because the prices are so low we cannot afford not to and to make
sure your goods are handled professionally and reach you in one
piece.
Deliveries can take up to 7 to 14 days. But we aim for under 7
working days. Special deliveries can take a little bit longer, but
no more than 4 weeks.
