How wide is a 1500mm bath?

A 1500mm bath typically measures 700mm to 800mm in width. However, this can vary by style. Straight baths usually come in 700mm or 750mm widths for compact spaces, while a 1500 x 800 bath offers extra shoulder room. 1500 shower baths often feature variable widths. One end measures around 700mm, and the showering end expands to 800mm or more for comfortable standing space.

How much space do I need for a 1500mm bath?

Measure your bathroom carefully before ordering. You'll need at least 1500mm of clear wall length, plus 50mm to 100mm at each end for panelling and pipe access. Add 700mm in front of the bath for safe access when getting in and out. For width, allow a minimum of 800mm.

Check that taps, waste, and shower fixings align with your plumbing, and always account for door swing clearance. Plus, make sure your bath will fit through your doors for delivery.

What materials do 1500mm bath tubs come in?

Most 1500mm baths in our collection are made from acrylic. This material is lightweight, durable, and retains heat well. Acrylic baths are reinforced with fibreglass for strength and come with a smooth, easy-clean surface.
