Marilyn wood-finish bathroom furniture
Marilyn is one of our warmest furniture collections — a small, carefully chosen set of wood-finish pieces designed to bring softness to modern bathrooms. The range covers a wall-hung vanity unit (in 600mm or 800mm sizes) and a matching tallboy, finished in your choice of tobacco oak or halifax oak. It's the pick for bathrooms that lean Scandi, Japandi or "lived-in modern" — and for anyone who'd rather a furniture piece that feels warm than one that disappears.
Two natural finishes, made to live with
The Marilyn finishes have been chosen to complement most modern tile palettes. Halifax oak is the lighter of the two — a soft, golden-toned grain that brightens smaller bathrooms and works beautifully with white, beige and soft green schemes. Tobacco oak is the deeper, smokier shade — well suited to darker tile, matt black brassware and rooms that lean cosy. Both finishes are wood-look surfaces engineered for bathroom use, so they handle steam and splashes without warping or fading.
A small range that says enough
Sometimes a smaller collection is the right move. Marilyn covers the two pieces that change a bathroom most — the vanity and the tallboy — without padding the range with extras you didn't need. Pick a size, pick a finish, and you've got a coordinated furniture footprint without spending weeks comparing options. If you'd like help choosing between the 600mm and 800mm vanity, or working out whether to add the tallboy, give our team a ring on 0121 753 0700 or step inside the range at our Birmingham showroom.
The collection is intentionally compact — a wall-hung vanity unit in 600mm and 800mm sizes, plus a matching tallboy. Everything is finished in the same wood-look styling, so the pieces coordinate without effort.
The vanity unit comes in two sizes: 600mm and 800mm. The 600mm suits smaller bathrooms, ensuites and downstairs WCs; the 800mm gives more basin and worktop space, which works well in main bathrooms.
Marilyn comes in two natural wood-look finishes — tobacco oak and halifax oak. Halifax oak is the lighter, more golden shade; tobacco oak is the darker, smokier option. Both have been chosen to coordinate with the most common modern tile palettes.
The finish is a wood-look surface engineered for bathroom use rather than solid timber. That gives it the warmth and grain of real wood while handling steam, splashes and humidity better than untreated timber would over time.
Yes — nothing stops you pairing a halifax oak vanity with a tobacco oak tallboy. Most rooms look most settled when the two share a finish, but mixing can create a nice tonal contrast if that's the look you're after.
We recommend a professional fitter, especially for the wall-hung vanity, which needs the wall to take the bracket weight properly. Most installations take a few hours for an experienced installer.
Yes — the range is on display at our Birmingham showroom. You can see both finishes in real light, run a hand over the grain, and chat to a designer about how the pieces will work with the rest of your bathroom.
