How delivery works

Once your order is ready, we dispatch it through our delivery partner, Palletways. You can choose a delivery date that works for you — up to 100 days in advance — giving you full control over when your bathroom arrives. All deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, and you'll receive a time slot on the morning of your delivery so you know exactly when to expect it.

Choosing your delivery date

When you place your order, you'll be able to select a delivery date that works best for you — up to 100 days in advance. This is especially useful if you're coordinating with tradespeople, planning a renovation around a specific timeline, or simply want to make sure someone is home to receive the delivery.

Once your order has been dispatched to Palletways, they will hold it at their depot for up to 5 days ahead of your chosen delivery date.

Need it as soon as possible?

If you've placed an order for the earliest available delivery, please be aware that the order is processed and dispatched quickly. If you need to make any changes to your delivery date after ordering, you must contact us within 48 hours. Changes requested after this window may incur additional charges.

Express delivery

Need your bathroom sooner? We offer an express next-day delivery service for all stocked items to most of mainland UK at an additional cost of £75.

Express delivery is unavailable over the weekend. Orders placed after 12pm on Thursday, or before 12pm on Friday, will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.

Unlike our standard kerbside delivery, white glove means your order is brought directly into your home and placed in a room of your choice — so you don't have to worry about moving heavy bathroom products yourself.

Pallet delivery

Most bathroom orders are delivered on a pallet due to the size and weight of the products. Here's what you need to know:

Kerbside delivery

Your order will be delivered to the nearest safe and accessible point at the kerbside of your property. The driver is unable to bring pallets inside your home or up driveways, steps, or paths.

Be prepared

We recommend having someone available to help move items from the kerbside into your property. Check your time slot on the morning of delivery so you're ready.

Check on arrival

Inspect your delivery as soon as it arrives. Report any damage or missing items within 2 working days. Do not install products before inspecting them thoroughly.

The wooden pallet your order arrives on is yours to keep or dispose of — the driver will not remove it. Smaller items may be placed inside the boxes of larger items, so please check thoroughly before reporting any shortages.

Lead times

Lead times vary depending on the product. Our own-brand products are typically held in stock and dispatched quickly. Branded products are ordered from the manufacturer and lead times vary by supplier — from as little as 3 days to up to 6 weeks for specialist items.

You'll be given an estimated delivery window at the time of purchase. If there are any delays beyond the communicated timescale, we'll contact you as soon as possible with updated information.

We recommend not booking tradespeople until your order has arrived and been fully inspected. Bathroom City cannot compensate for costs arising from delivery delays.

Failed deliveries and redelivery charges

If nobody is available to receive the delivery, or if the driver is unable to access your property safely, the delivery will be marked as failed. A redelivery charge of £25 will apply to rearrange a new delivery date.

To avoid this, please make sure someone is at the property during your delivery window and that the kerbside is accessible for a large vehicle. If you know in advance that you won't be available, contact us at least 48 hours before your delivery date to rearrange free of charge.

Collect from our warehouse

Prefer to collect? You're welcome to pick up your order from our Birmingham warehouse and showroom. Being located in the heart of the Midlands, we're conveniently positioned for customers across the UK.

Please check all items thoroughly at the time of collection. We are unable to accept returns for damage reported after items have left our premises, unless reported at the time of collection.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on all orders over £50. For orders under £50, a delivery charge will be calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver across the whole of the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, and the Islands. Delivery to remote areas may take slightly longer.
Can I choose my delivery date?
Yes. When you place your order, you can select a delivery date up to 100 days in advance. This gives you full flexibility to plan around your renovation or schedule.

Yes. On the day of your delivery, the delivery company will call you to let you know your time slot. All deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm.
Can I change my delivery date after ordering?
If you've selected the earliest available delivery, you must contact us within 48 hours to make changes free of charge. After 48 hours, rearranging your delivery may incur additional charges. For pre-booked dates further in the future, contact us as early as possible to rearrange.
What is white glove delivery?
White glove delivery is our premium service where your order is brought inside your home and placed in a room of your choice, rather than being left at the kerbside. Do you offer express or next-day delivery?
Yes. We offer an express next-day delivery service for stocked items to mainland UK for £75. Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Thursday will arrive the next day. Orders placed later in the week are delivered the following Monday or Tuesday, as express delivery is unavailable over the weekend. If you're in an excluded postcode area, the express option won't appear at checkout.
What happens if I'm not home for my delivery?
If nobody is available to receive the delivery, it will be marked as failed and a redelivery charge of £25 will apply. Please make sure someone is at the property during your delivery window. If you know you won't be available, contact us at least 48 hours beforehand to rearrange free of charge.

What do I do with the pallet?
The wooden pallet your order arrives on is yours to keep or dispose of. The driver will not remove it. Most local councils accept pallets at household recycling centres, or you can repurpose or break it down for disposal.
Can I book tradespeople before my delivery arrives?
We strongly recommend waiting until your order has arrived and been fully inspected before booking tradespeople. Bathroom City cannot compensate for any costs arising from delivery delays or product issues discovered on arrival.
