Shower Towers & Columns

Shower towers and shower columns give you a complete shower in a single, streamlined unit. A rigid riser carries the overhead shower head, the thermostatic valve sits at a comfortable hand height, and a handset on a hose takes care of rinsing and cleaning, all fixed to the wall as one piece. Because everything is pre-matched, a shower column is one of the simplest ways to achieve a designer look without specifying individual components, and installation is far quicker than a concealed shower because there is no need to chase pipework into the wall.

The Petteril exposed shower column

Our Petteril round exposed shower column combines a thermostatic valve with a rigid riser rail, a round fixed overhead head and a matching handset, and is available in polished chrome, matt black and brushed gold. The thermostatic control holds a steady temperature even when a tap is run elsewhere in the house, and the diverter lets you switch between the overhead head and handset with a simple twist. Its slim round profile suits both contemporary and transitional bathrooms and sits neatly inside a shower enclosure, over a bath or in a wet room.

Is a shower tower right for you?

Shower towers are ideal when you want a premium exposed shower, when the wall cannot be chased for a concealed valve, or when you are replacing an existing exposed bar shower and want a more substantial, architectural look. Check your water pressure before ordering, as large overhead heads perform best on mains-pressure or pumped systems. Bathroom City has over 40 years of bathroom experience, offers free UK delivery on orders over £50 and a free 3D design service to help you plan the whole room.
