Square Shower Trays
Made to sit neatly beneath a square corner enclosure, our square shower trays come in every popular size from 700mm to 900mm. Choose a textured slate effect for real character, or an anti-slip stone resin finish for extra peace of mind underfoot.
What size square shower tray do I need?
Your tray needs to match your enclosure exactly, so start by checking its size. Our square shower trays come in four sizes:
- 700 x 700mm is our most compact option, perfect for cloakroom showers and the smallest ensuites.
- 760 x 760mm gives you a touch more space, without taking up much extra floor.
- 800 x 800mm is a real all-rounder for ensuites and shower rooms.
- 900 x 900mm is the roomiest square size, with plenty of space to move.
Pair your tray with one of our square shower enclosures in the same size, or a 3 sided shower enclosure if your shower will sit against a single wall.
Should I choose an 800 x 800mm or 900 x 900mm shower tray?
Both are popular for good reason, so it comes down to the space you have. An 800 x 800mm tray fits comfortably into most ensuites and still gives you a proper showering space. If you can spare an extra 100mm on each side, a 900 x 900mm tray feels noticeably roomier, giving you more space to turn around and a more relaxing shower. Measure your corner carefully, and leave enough room in front for your shower door to open.
Should I choose a slate effect or stone resin tray?
Both are made to last, so it's really about the look and feel you'd like.
- A 26mm slate effect tray has a textured finish that adds natural grip and real character, sitting low to the floor for a modern look. Explore more in our slate shower trays.
- A 40mm stone resin tray has a smooth, anti-slip finish and suits most standard installations. Find more options in our non-slip shower trays.
Can I use a square shower tray with a quadrant enclosure?
No. A quadrant enclosure has a curved front, so it needs a tray with a matching curve. If you've chosen a quadrant, take a look at our quadrant shower trays instead. A square tray is designed for square enclosures, which have a straight door and side panel meeting at a right angle.
Where is the waste on a square shower tray?
The waste position varies from tray to tray, so check the product page against where your existing pipework runs before you order. Some of our trays include a waste, while others let you choose your own finish to match your taps and shower. If your waste pipe runs above the floor rather than beneath it, a raised shower tray with a riser kit will hide the pipework neatly away.
How do I fit a square shower tray?
It's all about getting the base right. The floor needs to be solid and level, and the tray should sit perfectly flat, so water drains properly and your enclosure closes evenly on top. Take your time with the spirit level, seal every edge carefully, and let the silicone cure fully before your first shower.
Our step-by-step guide on how to fit a shower tray walks you through every stage.
